Close all applications currently running on your computer.
Download and install Internet Information Services (IIS) to your computer. This must be done before you install ASP.NET. Open the "Control Panel" from the Windows Start menu. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" and then click "Add/Remove Windows Components." Click "Internet Information Services" and "Next." The box will be checked if IIS is installed your computer; otherwise, it will install automatically.
Download and install the latest version of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser from the Microsoft IE download page.
